Every once in a while the opportunity to make a special custom bag for someone comes my way.   

This last one came with a inspirational story of great friendship and
sharing the challenges we all seem to have faced at one time or another.

My gal pal Candy came to me with the idea to make a tote for a friend 
that would be a meaningful reminder of the power of our girlfriends.

Who's Sari Now drawstring wristlets

As I was re-organising my fabric shelves, I came across the Sari fabrics that I have been saving for a rainy day project.

I decided to design a totally different bag than my signature style and got out my trims and ribbons and old jewelery.

After a few trials with size and shape I came up with these really elegant little bags which I can see as a great party accessory.
